"The mind is not a vessel to be filled, but a fire to be kindled." This quote by William Butler Yeats is an apt representation of what we wish to create at The Learning Lever. We are on a mission to create learning experiences that makes up for the missing pieces in the puzzle:

• Create a space where the child can freely think, do, apply, experience and learn without the pressures of assessments

• Build skills that are required for the future, or are often neglected in school

The Theory of Flow, our guiding philoshopy to create these learning experiences defines Flow State as that “in which people are so involved in an activity that nothing else seems to matter; the experience is so enjoyable that people will continue to do it even at great cost, for the sheer sake of doing it”. Our endevaour to create such flow state experiences as a part of our learning programs ensures that

• The learning is child led and child is intrinsically motivated to do something

• The learning is experiential & immersive and  appeals to the different intelligences of a child

•  Child is challenged just to the right level not to feel stressed or lose interes

• Learning is effortless and a by product

• Child can apply this way of learning to various other subjects

• While there are not exams and rewards, there are clear goals and feedback and a sense of achievement at the end 

• Facilitator is not instructor but is there just to provide scaffolding​

As a parent you can play a huge role by not just considering The Learning Lever as  your child's learning partner, but also being a part of a community of like minded parents who wish to bring about a change in how children learn today.

• Share your story on how you bring the textbook learning alive for your child at home through experiences and activities

• Brainstorm with us on areas that you think children of today need additional skilling
